I am a rising junior majoring in Economics from Northern Virginia. As a transfer student from the University of Virginia, my experience at Davidson has been extremely rewarding so far, and I look forward to the unique opportunity to learn collaboratively with the students and professors on this trip. Since it is my first time returning to Europe after living in Belgium as a child, I’m particularly excited to visit with a new perspective. I’m interested in learning more about the various perspectives and challenges of the refugee crisis, especially as it poses difficult economic challenges among others. The intersection of economics and political decisions particularly appeals to me.
Outside of class, I run the 400m and 800m on the track and field team and am involved in the Davidson Non-Profit Consulting club. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting and running.
